 18 grudnia 2007 r w naszą szkołę odwiedził żołnierz Damian Sobieralski z osiemnastego bielskiego batalionu desantowo- szturmowego im. Ignacego Gazurka. Na spotkanie do auli zostali zaproszeni uczniowie klas III fakultetu społecznego i humanistycznego. Wojskowy ciekawie opowiadał o doświadczeniach wywiezionych z misji w Iraku i Afganistanie. Obszernie przedstawił sytuację społeczną i polityczną w tych państwach. Żołnierz popierał swoje opowiadanie zdjęciami zrobionymi z prywatnego aparatu. Uczniowie zadawali pytania dotyczące życia na wojnie, obyczajów tamtejszej ludności oraz sprzętu wojskowego na którym działają polscy żołnierze. Spotkanie to uświadomiło nam jak niebezpiecznie może być na wojnie oraz przybliżyło sytuacje jaka panuje w Iraku i Afganistanie. |

 We invite you all on 20th January 2008 at 3:00 pm to annual service for young people, by our Crib in Borki. This year it will be celebrated by Bishop Pawel Stobrawa. The programme includes singing Christmas carols together with the Franciscan band WSD from Wroclaw 'Granifer'. See some pictures that should encourage you to visit our beautiful Crib.

  We had been feeling a Christmas atmosphere in our school for a long time but Friday 21st Dec was the day when we all felt as if it really was 24th December.
There was a celebration in the assembly hall during the first lessons. We watched a performance of our school drama group which is run by Mrs. Violetta Jagus, and we listened to Christmas songs and carols sung by our schoolmates: Ania Kisiel and Monika Głowik. Then the Kochański’s Band made a guest appearance. After the celebration we went to the classrooms to celebrate class eves. The class eves didn’t differ very much from the ones, which we usually spend at home with our families. A lot of classes traditionally provided themselves with crisps, sweets, juice, gingerbread etc., but some also had carps or beetroot soup with raviolis. We also followed the most expected custom – giving presents, of course.
24th December was really great in our school and all of us left school with smiles on our faces and full bellies.
